I get asked this question daily; what makes your smoker better than the rest? It’s a hard question to answer without giving away some of our company secrets and without saying things that appear to down grade the other cooker manufacturers out there. I got chastised over the 4th of July holidays about telling the truth. We have never been in business to mimic or downgrade the competition. Our moto is to build to the best of our ability and so far that has placed us at the front of the rest. What has happened to us Americans? Do we not live by a different creed than the rest of the world? Are we not the great innovators the rest of the world strives to emulate? Isn’t that who we are as a nation? If that is so; then how can we be that person and be held in such high regard if we don’t actually practice what we preach? It is my belief that “Made In America” stands for SO much more than just a sticker and a ”good ole saying”! It is what we do every day at Stump’s Smokers. Walter Stump McDowell has taken an idea and perfected it to become the Great American Success Story! We don’t build or sell smokers based upon any other name, competitor or sales number that exists out there in this wonderful country we live in! So I ask why anyone else would want to do so. I have never wanted to sell or even approach a sale based upon what somebody else produced. We still build smokers one at a time with the best work force that could be asked for. PRIDE and QUALITY is in everything we do at Stump’s Smokers. We have NEVER built anything that was based upon our speed in which to do so. To borrow a line from Stump himself “Good work ain’t fast and cheap, but cheap work is right down the street. Go get ya some!! Plan your work and work your plan. “It’s just that simple to believe in your product and build it to the best of your ability! After all, you are representing an “American made product”. Live up to the standards of America, not your competitor!! Be your own man with your own ideas and sell your product based upon what you believe to be the best aspects of your company. So to you guys that want to base your livelihood upon what is happening in Centerville GA at the Best Damn BBQ Smoker Company on the Planet!!! Well, you go right ahead.
