I got it....! With love from my Cousin Adriun! God is SO - TopicsExpress

I got it....! With love from my Cousin Adriun! God is SO AMAZING~ What is the meaning? Ecclesiastes 10:19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes merry; but money answers everything. First of all when we read from the books og the Bible there are a few things we must have an understanding of in order to understand the scripture correctly. (Gods word says my people are perishing from lack of understanding). First the Purpose of Ecclesiastes is: To spare future generations the bitterness of learning through their own experience that life is meaningless apart from God. And whom he was talking too: Solomons subjects in particular where the main focus, and all people in general. Solomon was looking back on his life, much of which was lived apart from God. (cant we relate). Another thing when your trying to understand or interpet scripture remember always to read and get understanding of the whole passage. So with this one you would start with verses 1-20, then go back to verse 19. The whole section is about wise behavior. MONEY ANSWERS EVERYTHING: Rather than being ironic or critical about wealth or the Rich, this comment is to be taken in the context of the dissolute Nobles, in verse 16 and bangueters in verse 17. Wealth for them is only pleasure and a means of having fun. Government leaders, businesses, families, even Churches get trapped into thinking money can meet all their needs. We throw money at our problems, but just as the thrill of wine is only temporary, the soothing effect of the last purchase soon wears off and we have to buy more. Scripture recognizes that money is necessary for survival, but it warns against the love of money. Money is dangerous because it deceives us into thinking that wealth is the easiest way to get everything we want. The love of money is sinful because we trust it, rather than God, to solve our problems. And those who pursue its empty promises will one day discover that they have nothing because they are spiritually bankrupt. Although the tone of Ecclesiastes is negative and pessimistic, we must not conclude that the only chapter worth reading and applying is the last one, where he draws his conclusions. In reality, the entire book is filled with practical wisdom (how to accomplish things in the world and stay out of control) and spiritual wisdom (how to find and know eternal values). Solomon had a very honest approach. All of his remarks relating to the futility of life are there for a purpose: to lead us to seek fulfillment and happiness in God alone. He was not trying to destroy all hope, but to direct our hopes to the only One who can truly fulfill them and give our life meaning. Solomon affirms the value of knowledge, relationships, work, and pleasure, but only in their proper place. See the devil is a lie! Thats what he wants for us to think that money answers everything. If you dont get a clear understanding thats exactly what you would think he is saying. But that goes completely against what the Word of God teaches. When money is used for the right reasons, in its proper means, responsibly with God centered intent, yes it does answer everything. We cant put money before God, our focus must be on God first. Solomon was making a point and you were just two chapters short to being at the End of the book of Ecclesiastes. The whole Duty of Man: Verse 13-14 Lets us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God and keep His commandments, for this is mans all. For God will bring every work into judgement, Including every secret thing, whether good or evil.
