I had a hard time as a single parent. I raised three children who were often teased because we were short on money. They were teased because they didn’t have the high priced shoes as the other kids but guess what God did? The same daughter who couldn’t afford to wear expensive shoes is now giving away expensive shoes to less fortunate children. That same daughter of mine who was teased in school is now a five year WNBA player. Who’s laughing now? My years as a single parent paid off. Those children I struggled to raise are now a blessing to me and the husband God gave me to help finish raising them. - taken from a message today from an awesome woman of God.
