I had a sort of revelation/epiphany last night. I was watching the news and they were discussing the people who were on the Malaysian Airlines flight that went down. One of them was a woman of about 55 or 60, whose husband had taken her on a last vacation trip to see everything, Because she was losing her sight. Permanently. And that shocked me into realizing this ..... I thought to myself, I think Id rather have HHT, nosebleeds, PAVMs, liver shunt and all, but to lose my sight would be terrible (at least to me). I couldnt paint, I couldnt play the piano, I couldnt see the stars in the night sky, I couldnt see the fish spawning in the creek. Theres a long, long list of wonderful things I can do even though I have HHT, I believe this comes under the heading of Count Your Blessings :-)
