I had a younger sister Para. 8 years ago, we lost her in a car accident when she was on the way to Germany. Today is her birthday and I am sitting here, missing her. Having created me, influenced me to be whatever I am on todays date, she and her death had played a big role in my life. I remember the 6-year-old Balendu before her birth who was praying to God in a temple for a sister. I remember that Para, too, who made fun of my religiosity. I remember that day, too, 8 years ago when I wished her Happy Birthday on phone from Germany for the last time and I also remember that Balendu who refused all religious rituals following her death.
