I had never heard of Mireille Mathieu until I received a package of some of my biological fathers personal effects from his wife a few years ago. Included in that was a cassette of this ladys music, and, upon hearing her voice, I had to buy more. The title of this is Three Billion People on Earth (this is from a long time ago), but its to a melody youll recognize. This particular melody could not be played in Houston when I was little since Houston, at the time, was still a southern city, and this song had played double duty as the Unions battle hymn during the war.
