I had recently heard that the Persimmon seed predicts the winter weather...So as I was walking today I thought ? I would see what the seed predicted for us in our area........almanac/content/predicting-weather-using-persimmon-seed.............My seed is a Knife so that means......If the kernel is knife-shaped, expect to be cut by icy, cutting winds....There is also a Spoon shape which means...If the kernel is spoon-shaped, lots of heavy, wet snow will fall. Spoon = shovel! ......And a Fork shape which means.....If it is fork-shaped, you can expect powdery, light snow and a mild winter....Below in the comments I have posted a pic odf my seed I took today......if you click on the link you can see the other shapes in the seed.
