I hate to start out the new year (early) with controversy, but we must put a stop to the following. Ive been vocal enough about where I stand with other cultural issues, but not enough on this one. Public scatting without a license must come to an end. I gained my license in 1970 and rarely use it. Scatting is like nuclear fission, promising big but outweighed by an enormous downside that can wipe out entire ecosystems, and even the planet, if one operator makes a bad decision. Imagine chorus after chorus of Fukushimas. For the record, Philip Marshall shared this with me and I will be severing all ties with him.
