I have a 7year old with ADHD, he is at or above grade level in all his classes but he has an IEP for Social/Emotional. He does not get longer testing times, or easier work loads, and they keep him in the special ed classroom instead of allowing him in general ed 100%. His report cards show vast improvements in social/emotional areas, and obviously huge strides in academics (at a 3rd grade reading level) but they are making GETTING OUT OF SPECIAL ED very hard! Any suggestions for getting my son out of Special Ed?
