I have a dear friend of mine who is a deputy sheriff and all this talk against Police really upsets me. It is not Police, but any authority figure that seems to be under attack. That could be teachers, principles, bosses, parents, etc. Right now because of lack of good leadership in our country, they are the target. What a shame. I guess here in my town we have been blessed with good police who are trying to do a great job in a society of political corruption. They listen and try to do the impossible with little to no respect. We have seen many compassionate moments by our police force. I had an official come and spend time scaring our young man straight but what made a difference is the officer shared his life story with Jay. What an impact that made! During a bully situation in our neighborhood, they were given in my opinion an impossible task, but we now have peace in our neighborhood. Even more recently I witnessed first hand the care and compassion of a great police officer from uhrichsville. We are blessed.
