I have a diverse spectrum of friends of Facebook - from big time leaders to policy makers to technocrats to academe, etc. Often I feel insecure about sounding too hippie but thats just really my fear and need to prove that Im good enough to recommend a grounded and well-thought of solution to the worlds problems. In the end, I have to laugh to realise I am not doing it for them! teehee :-) Last Monday, after we flew more than 400 kites for peace with children, I joined a meeting with sociologists and anthropologists talking about research methods, frameworks, data mapping and social issues. Just the thought that I can still speak their language yet have fun in the work or rather play I share to the earth community just made me smile :-) This is a really good reminder today!
