I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. When I was younger, my dad gave me an audio cd collection of historys greatest speeches that I would listen to on occasion while getting ready for school. Echoing the sentiment of this type of profound love has been such a resounding gift of connection for me, the true spirit of human contribution. I believe that we all have the same needs in different forms, we all want to be loved, respected and valued. I will continue to love the unloved, and will always stand up for what I believe in, whether it is alone, even if its for the sake of someone else not having to feel marginalized. I beg for not only for Dr. Martin Luther Kings vision to be fully realized, but with a non-conventional twist of I have a dream, that my three little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged. PERIOD. We have work to do, together.
