I have a friend who is fostering a litter of orphaned chocolate Labrador Retriever puppies. Fortunately, the foster is was able to accept the entire litter and will be able to keep them together until they are 14 weeks old. These puppies will be altered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heart worm tested, dewormed and deflead. Surgeries are scheduled for March 25th, 2015. Puppies will be able to go home April 7th, 2015. These are puppies, and they require care and training. They deserve a home where there is someone able to attend to them throughout day. That may mean you have a spouse at home, you work from home, you only work part time, or you can take your puppy to work with you. They will not go to homes where theyll be alone or locked up all day. Adoption requirements are as follows: •Vet references •Personal References •2 meet and greets with all family members, including any other companion animals in the home •Proof of landlord approval or HOA approval of large dog, and that youve paid your pet deposit if youre a renter •Home & yard check •Picture ID All of this will take place after your adoption application has been approved.
