I have an idea... I have a show coming up in February. They have requested that I provide about 40 prints or more! It is an awful lot for one person to do by hand. The gallery also stated that the never show Photography, but because I shoot film and print by hand they would love to show my work. They want that fact emphasized. Although I plan to do most of the printing myself, I thought maybe it would be cool to ask a few different alt processors do some prints for me?! It would 1) help me get closer to the amount they need and ALSO would really advocate and demonstrate the various alt processes in one venue at the same time. I think it would be really amazing to get average people more familiar with historic processes. I dont have a lot of money so Im hoping to do trade for keeping a print of mine... Or at least a substantial discount for one?? I would also fully credit each printers work. What do you think? Good idea? Bad idea?
