I have been nominated by my incredible sister-in-law, Siobhan Flynn Robben to spread some positivism. I will do this, not because any of you want to read it, hehe, but for myself. A powerful reminder to myself to be grateful for what I have... For the next 5 days I will post 3 positive things in my life. I will go in relatively chronological order...itll be interesting to see the little story of me it tells. 1. I am grateful for the spark of life. Regardless of ones belief system, the opportunity to walk this spinning ball should always be cherished. And never wasted. 2. I am grateful for the loved ones who shaped me into the man I am. None did it the same way and none did it intentionally, as far as I knew. But I watched. And I learned. I have much appreciation for my father, Richard Robben, my mother in heaven, Deborah Gaggi, my mother who picked up the reigns, Doreen Gleason, and my grandfather, Harold Robben. Sure...the list could go on. But from an early age, this is what I had. And it was more than I deserved. 3. I am grateful for the memories I have, before the age of 9. There are easily as many horrific as there are wonderful. But having them is a precious gift. And they all helped mold me...and define me. I nominate Eileen Drabik Robben, Daniel DeRosa, and Ron Peragallo to do the same. See you all tomorrow.
