I have had another Long day, both Liz and I, did not attend the New Holland auction today as I needed to get caught up on some things, but got a few calls that a few horses needed QT so off we went. While I was sitting in the loading dock getting ready to go and get a horse to load saved by Kelly Conner and an anonymous sponsor, I hear this man yelling in the bay next to me at a horse. Get in you rotten S.O.B. move it! You are going for lion food!! and yelled you are going to be dinner!! as they swished a rake around at his hind end to get him to load I thought I was going to barf. I watched the horses eyes thru the slats as they pulled out beside me with that horrified look and I was absolutely nauseous as I watched him drive away, so much evil buying the auction horses, it really hit me today, often I have to go in there and be part of the crowd, or some of the horses may not get out, it was difficult today and I am going to have nightmares seeing his eyes as he was hauled away......
