I have just discovered this morning (thru my IELTS Speaking Test) - TopicsExpress

I have just discovered this morning (thru my IELTS Speaking Test) that my biggest weakness in speaking in English has been fluency and coherence. I neither have the capacity to construct nor keep a long, fluid, coherent, and detailed response in an extemporaneous manner. Im not really a fan of long talks. perhaps im kinda lazy. I just shook my head, laughed, and cringed at my dreadfully mediocre responses. haha. (yeah. they were quite disgusting, and embarrassing responses. and to think that they came from an English teacher like me) :D normally, I would feel down and disappointed, and would sulk and whine about it. but surprisingly, im really not depressed. in fact, im very pleased to have discovered it. now I know what I have to work on. and I think I can overcome it in a short span of time. im not one to brag but, every time I get positive vibes like this, well, things turn out great in the end. so whats the point of venting about it on facebook? well, im just hoping that whoever has the patience to read this, will learn something useful or be inspired, or sumthin like that. >_< Lessons learned from today: 1. the traumas of the past should never be a hindrance to your future (kay nagkastage fright ko since elementary due to having a blackout in the middle of a speech). 2. a weakness will remain one if you let it. dont be ensnared, and lose what is rightfully yours. break your limits! 3. God has blessed me with good co-workers to bring out the best in me and to criticize me constructively. I was, am, and will never be alone in this. Gratitude! #positiveinfluence
