I have just made a rookie mistake in my calculations while doing a DIY job at home. Dont get me wrong, my measurements were perfect and the finished floor edging/conduit fits fine. My error was to use the incorrect variable in the cat help/ time equation. Normally a 1 hour job takes 2 hours when your cat helps you. 2hr jobs, which obviously require more tools and screws etc will require 5hrs with cat help (this allows an extra hour to keep stopping to retrieve the extra bits and pieces that your cat will relocate as you work) I had a 2hr job to do today so I left myself 5hrs to do the work . . . 9hrs later, I finished! My rookie mistake??? I am used to Schrödinger helping me . . . I should have multiplied the cat help factor by 2.5 . . I forgot that I now have Sparta too - And they work as one hell of a team!!!
