STOP PRESS: An unsuspecting member of the public gave CPR to a man who was allegedly FAKING a cardiac arrest in Malmesbury High Street this afternoon, police have said. Sergeant Martin Alvis confirmed that the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, police and ambulance crews were called to Lower High Street at about 2.45pm following reports that a man had been knocked off his bike and was having a cardiac arrest. On arrival, emergency crews determined that the individual was known to them and had appeared to have fabricated his condition.
