I have kind of had a blue afternoon/evening. I just look around at so much that needs done before Christmas and it makes me sad. Also, last night was the KSB Christmas banquet. Kurt has been at the bank for 19½ years which means next Christmas he will get his 20th year gift, and also as it just happens, next year his branch, Mt Hope, will be in charge of the program. He just mentioned that too bad he wont be here for that...sarcastically. I know he was just joking, but I have to think that this might be his last Christmas. Dec 25 will be 18 months since his diagnosis and the survival rate at 2 years is only around 5%. Sometimes, things are going so good. We are having fun, we laugh, we enjoy our time together. Other times, like holidays, it just smacks you in the face, and you wonder how you can go on. Today is that day for me. Just very weepy today.
