I have not long come home after my 11:30 appointment at the wound clinic. I had NO IDEA what the V.A.C. Dressing was going to be like. I have to say how shocked I was to discover what it was all about and yet at the same time absolutely fascinated with how the vacuum technology works and what it will do! I have a vacuum pump attached to me. This will be changed three times a week. I carry the whole thing in shoulder bag ( it is quite weighty... and it sure to make me rest up!). I will probably have this for about 6 weeks! My next appointment is this Friday morning at 10:30. Please pray... I think these will be quite difficult days ahead of me. No wonder the lady at the hospital told me I needed home help! This morning two friends from Church came to do housework. I am glad they changed my sheets. I am heading to bed... soon!
