I have to post my feelings of the recent Medal of Honor presented to the Army Captain that I just saw on TV. How convenient for Obama! 4 years after the heroic actions of the Captain he is finally honored. But let it be known that he requested air cover, etc, to help the ambush he and other soldiers were fighting against and was denied. Also, one of the soldiers he rescued and helped to safety died and also received the Medal of Honor after death. However, the Captain, who was also supposed to receive the Medal at that time, was not honored because his process was lost and not in the system. It was stated that someone didnt want him to receive it!. It was stated that the Captain was basically forced out of the Army. A gov official and I believe a reporter lobbied to get the medal presented to him. SO----how convenient for Obama to present the Medal of Honor to him in the middle of closing open air veteran sites to our veterans, Bengazhi, nonpayment of death benefits to families of fallen soldiers, etc., etc., etc.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sickening! This incredible soldier should have received this honor years ago-not now! At least he did finally get his well-deserved accolade. BUT I firmly believe this was a calculated move on the part of Obama to make him look better to veterans etc as he flexes his muscles throughout the negotiations of the gov shutdown by not negotiating. He used one of our brave soldiers to raise his ratings, which are the lowest its ever been. Think hes the anti-christ????? LOL. Disgusting.
