I have to say Im happy with my newsfeed that my friends on here seem to be of a balanced, rational nature. The furore over JK Rowling is quite an eye opener to how some folk dont take the time to think. These are people who dont know how to be passionate and not hateful. They equate vile behaviour as evidence of their passion, its not productive, but they dont know any better. For those that do, its our job to spread peaceful debate, discussion, questioning. My Nana is keen for us to stay together, and initially I openly derided her opinions, but then I realised that rational, patient and kind discussion, looking at the points for both, and keeping it open, is the exact thing we need to convince the No Voters to think about the pros and cons, and hopefully see more pros. Above all, Im excited to see so many people engaged in the most important decision our country has faced in our life time. JK Rowling is absolutely welcome to her opinion, and putting her money where her mouth is. Everyone that disagrees with her, should focus their energies more positively and imaginatively.
