I have witnessed people say that racism is not active today and the media is playing on race for tv ratings. First Racism must be dealt with by what it is......... A spirit. It cant be removed from the legal system until its cast out of our hearts. We see visible evidence of racism everyday perhaps without noticing. Many churches have only one race that makes up the congregation. Schools always have a dominant race that makes up far more than half and sometimes up to over 90 percent of the population. Communities are often dominated by a particular race. Examine friendships and you will find that most have no friends (not just associates) of another ethnicity. These divisions are subtitle effects of racism still at work in American society. Like an after shock that follows an earthquake these things are the after shock of racism. The spirit of Racism must be confronted spiritually
