I havent said much about this, nor have I wanted to watch the ongoing media coverage about the reality of what happened. It hits way too close to home for me. Too many good people have gone too soon because of suicide. The hidden pain that people go through is perfectly displayed here, one of the funniest people in the world, who made so many people laugh was suffering a silent pain that ultimately took his life. Yes, it is a selfish act, but people need to realize how desperate some people become, quietly suffering to the point they cant take it anymore and they take their life thinking its the only way. Please look around you, pay attention to those you love and care for, let them know that you care and there is help. Sometimes you are too young to realize what is really going on, sometimes you are too busy to notice, but please, let this make you aware, starting now...if you think something is wrong...do something to help someone you care about, before its too late. In honor of my childhood friend...Rich and all of the others who left us too soon.
