I heard this story: a man and his wife were working on their parched land. That year was exceptionally hot and dry, so while they sweltered in the heat and their young one crying in inconsolable hunger it happened that an aeroplane flew right above them. In her weariness the woman swore and said: "Those are the MEN!" pointing to the sky. Am told her equally frustrated husband never said a word, instead he bit his lower lip and threw his back at his hoe - but he never forgot. Many years later their fortunes actually changed and the man became a successful farmer and a wonderful grandfather and altogether amassing considerable wealth. When the aging couple eventually felt that they had earned a holiday they went to the coast and LO BEHOLD (to the delight of the man and chagrin of his wife)! the "godless revelry! It was in one such time when a bunch of near naked girls passed by when the old man turned to his wife and said: " Now those are the WOMEN!" pointing at their direction.
