I hired a retired/former Arapahoe County Court attorney that work with them 25 years. I got a simple 2 charge traffic ticket, paid him, then he told the prosecuting attorney: This is stupid, shouldnt even be here! She said, okay Phil Ill dismiss it... How you been, okay? Went into the courtroom during an existing hearing, as they were calling up a new witness. He walks right over to the clerk, gave her the paperwork and the Judge stopped everything; Phil, good to see you smiling, hows everything? As the judge is signing the paperwork without reading it he says Hows the family? I heard things are well. Everything took 12 minutes. Instead of me waiting hours and getting a reduced/bartered plea and some fine... they knew the money I was paying helped their friend/former associate. I thought that only worked in big business... so if anyone needs an Arapahoe County attorney he can probably get you 90 days probation for a double homicide.
