I honestly dont know how I am going to put these emotions into words but Im going to try. If Im to describe some of my milestones in my poly life, one of which would definitely be being part of IGNITE! Music Festival family. Unlike most of my friends, I had the opportunity to be the stage crew for the festival when I was Year 1 - this was also the year I started listening to local music. I was super amazed by the talent we have in SG and I also started listening to 53A. I learnt many things that year - one of which that is still kept in my heart would be to be thankful for the people who put you up there on that stage - the sound engineer, the lighting engineer, every single crew, the ALOs. This was the biggest thing I took away that year & it was probably the stepping stone to my love for production. In year 2, bc I was away from school for almost a semester, I wasnt really part of the planning committee in IGNITE! Nevertheless, the team still took me in & deployed me to be the Stage Managers PA. This year, this year was truly different. I rly dont know where to start. Firstly, I have to thank TK LiM & Liwern Wong for taking me in, despite not having done much the previous year. Thank you for believing that I can take on the role you guys have assigned me with; its definitely something different from what Ive been doing & thank you for believing I can do it. I rly hope Ive done you guys proud & I wna apologize for the mistakes Ive made - thank you for always guiding and always teaching & for being so ever patient with me whenever I did smth wrong. Ive learnt so much - things that could never be learnt in school & thank you for the opportunities. Thank you for being the best bosses anyone could ask for. To my dear secretariats Ang Yi Si Cherylynn Poh & Suzanna, thank you for being part of the PMS (Pretty Mad Secretariats). All I can say, the late nights have been worth every single minute of it bc of you guys + the bosses. Thank you for always keeping a look out for me & always buying me food bc I refuse to eat. Yi Si, thank you for always nagging at me until I buay tahan & I rly am gna miss you so so so much. Youve been here since last year & from the very start
