I just encountered a guy spruiking for Red Cross basically harassing a woman for free hugs. Effectively walking behind her and insisting several times as she refused several times. I walked up and said Id take a free hug, which let her escape. He seemed lost for words and kind of grudgingly have a hug. He then attempte to seize the opportunity to pitch Red Cross to me. I stopped him and thanked him and said I wont give any money to the Cross as long as they keep advocating that my gay blood is tainted. He visibly blanched and found an excuse to harass other people.
