I just got another GOP fundraiser from ole Reincie at teabilly HQ. It is amazing how shameless these repubs are in telling such obvious lies! When someone starts flailing like this, it exposes just how desperate they are. I have numbered the 4 lies in this fund raiser e-mail & refuted them below. Knowledge is power. ________________________________ 1. "President Obama is making himself a lame duck president. 2. Today, a majority of Americans disapprove of his presidency. Democrats up for re-election are running away from the costs of ObamaCare and Obama’s failed policies. Obama’s response? Go back on the campaign trail. 3. Instead of leading, President Obama is kicking off a bus tour to explain to college students why his policies have caused their student loan debt to skyrocket. 4. He will also have to explain why ObamaCare is making it harder and harder to find full-time employment. Ten million Americans under age 25 can’t find full-time work, and many are having their hours cut further because of ObamaCare. Make sure we roll back Obama’s failed policies and elect more conservative leaders to Congress in 2014 with a $14 contribution to our work. Take action, contribute $14 to the GOP today. Lie... the latest Gallup poll shows 46% of americans approve and 45% disapprove. The prez’s numbers have dropped 8% since the NSA story and is because progressives and independents don’t like the possibility of this Bush like activity. Meanwhile, the GOP led house has an 87% disapproval. 3. BIG lie... The president has been advocating for stopping the rate increase. It was the GOP led house that couldn’t get it done in spite of dems wanting to tie rates to the fed rates and repubs finally agreeing. Shameless lie... anyone paying attention has to know the reason jobs have not grown more quickly (yes they have grown steadily after the Bush meltdown) is republican obstruction and their record filibusters.
