I just prefer IBJJF rules and points awarded for achieving dominant positions. I have no problems with advantages and they were intended to keep account of the ENTIRE match. I dont dig 1 point for dominant positions (say a back take) yet you award 3 points for submission attempts. Submission ATTEMPTS - *not submission cause that ends the match - ATTEMPTS just like almost passing which people will complain about. Once you put money on the line, these rules can be manipulated too. I can see a Black Belt pulling closed guard and throwing up strong X-Choke attempts. 2 of those he gets 6 points for not even reversing the position. #NoRulesAreManipulationProof PS. I think the guard pull is an option that shouldnt be penalized. BJJ is primarily seen as ground fighting. Its not judo. I have takedowns. *Allen Iverson character LOL
