I just read a malicious and evil propaganda against APCs VP candidate. The dude who started the malicious propaganda didnt even bother to cover his face or remove his pictures. He made bold-face accusations of rape, stealing, and many more vices against the Prof. without a shred of evidence. The post has been shared over 66 times. I went through the comments sections. Many of them were glad to share it and claimed everything is fair in politics. Lie/libel/character assassination is fair in Nigerian politics??? This is how some Nigerians are using social media platforms. Its so sickening! Decent people will find it horribly repulsive and unbearable. Unfortunately both sides (APC and PDP) are involved in this terrible misadventure. There are some tools that shouldnt be allowed in the hands of thugs and scoundrels. Too many Nigerians are simply unable to handle the responsibilities that come with freedom of speech and expression. Its too much of a responsibility for their small brains to handle. People shouldnt be allowed to get away with spreading falsehood and destroying lives simply because they have a mobile phone and access to the internet. Responsible countries are making laws to regulate peoples activities on the internet, especially the social media. Nigeria has to do the same before these Nigerian lunatics turn the Nigerian network into a network of scoundrels.
