I just realized today the the Obamacare website is totally 180 degrees different that any other product purchasing site. If I wan to buy something on Amazon, Ebay, etc., I find the product I want, check the description, check the reviews (I bet you wont find that on the ACA site! The amount of profanity from the disappointed would crash the system alone!), and then check to see if the price is affordable. Depending on how things look, I can choose to make the purchase. Then when it is time to pay for it...I CAN CHOOSE TO WILLINGLY DISCLOSE my credit card #, etc. and complete the deal, OR, cancel it without having given up my personal identity information. The Obamacare website, and I might add the Washington State Medical Exchanges, are front-loaded. You have to fork over your personal and financial info before you can be ushered into the hallowed halls of the site....at least you can with the state exchange...that one works. The Federal site just grabs your info and crashes.
