I just received the hand brace drill I ordered 3 days ago from Lee Valley. That was fast! I just used ordinary S&H. But, if my woodworking/bushcrafting/traditional skills friends are interested, it was $80 CAN and worth every penny. This thing weighs maybe a kilo of solid steel and my grand kids will probably inherit it one day. The chuck is extremely solid and heavy duty and I doubt I could do more than scratch it if I strapped it to a kilo bottle of 777 black powder and tried to blow it up. If youre tired of having to buy a new cordless drill every other year when the battery goes and you discover that through the idiocy of planned obsolescence, the replacement batteries are no longer made, this is the tool for you. Ill use this for jobs as light as fine woodworking to tapping maple trees with half inch bits.
