I just saw a 6 Terabyte hard drive for $250. When I started learning how to program in 1972 writing Fortran programs on punch cards, no such concept of storage size existed. It was like an imaginary number. We didnt even know the math behind the math to define rotational drive geometry for blocks and cylinders. I feel old. 6 Trillion bytes of data! 1 TB = 1,000,000,000,000bytes = 10^12bytes = 1,000 gigabytes.
