I just want people to know that things here at my brothers house are not good right now, she is failing more almost daily. I do not want to loose her but am tired of watching her loose everything , especially her dignity , and not be able to do a damned thing about it. She has worked hard her whole entire life, raised a family, taken care of many sick family members, and been a rock to many over the years including me, when my husband died , she and my brother came to me and stayed the entire week and half , then reluctantly went home as they had to work, but they called me every day to check up on me and even came down and spent Christmas Eve with me just so i wouldnt be alone. I love this couple more than words can say and to have to sit back and watch as this cruel disease takes everything away from her and them, is heart wrenching. She can no longer feed or wash herself , she can not stand for more than a few seconds and that is with someone holding her up with all their mite. She has been aware of what is going on around her but for the past few days , not so much and for that i am grateful as she would be embarrassed to see herself this way. I know alot of people have had family or friends die from this terrible disease, but i can tell ya i think our family has been cursed or something, we have endured alot of sickness and deaths, its time our family GETS A BREAK.
