I just want to say I am 5 months sober today (24.08.14 Australia). I have not been 5 months sober in a continuous run, since my early 20s. I have no desire to drink and in spite of myself, I have a feeling that everything is going to be Ok. The only thing I have done, is the steps, go to meetings and do as suggested. I have been given a gift and I have done nothing but surrender to the process, with no destination in mind. I am grateful for AA and those in it and around it...the good, the bad and the ugly..it has given me life today.
