I just want to take a few minutes to brag on my children. It is no surprise that my husband and I very much live paycheck to paycheck and sometimes struggle to make it to the next paycheck. Though our kids never go without, they have never had a lot. They get what they need, for the most part, but usually not just things they want. This year Christmas is very tough for us. Though my children do know the real reason for the season, its still a parents desire to see their childrens eyes light up with special Christmas gifts. Anyways, I have talked to each of my children this year to explain the situation and what to expect/not expect for Christmas. Each one of them were not heartbroken, gave a sigh or even a little bit of attitude. In fact they all said it was no big deal about gifts. Sometimes I get frustrated with the level of appreciation my kids can show, but at the end of they day, they are really good kids and have really big hearts. I love them so much an so proud that God gave them to me!!
