I just wanted to highlight a very small portion of SAN PEDRO. I feel like this town really gets slept on. Ive been to MANY cities in California and still this town is one of the most beautiful. Its really a vacation in itself. If you are ever coming to visit Los Angeles and are looking for a small town with HUGE amounts of beauty, come here. And for those of you who actually live in L.A. and still have NO IDEA where San Pedro is at --> 110 fwy south, till it ends. Best date you can take someone on. Let me help you out in case you want to look these places up: - Terranea [Theres a resort attached] - Cabrillo Beach [With famous bathhouse and free aquarium and marine learning center] - Ports O Call [For amazing, fresh seafood by the pound[s]] - Royal Palms Beach [For an oceanography experience] - Light House [Take a long walk on the breakwater] - Korean Bell - Waterfront Show [Dancing lights, music and water show every 15 minutes] - Trolley ride [1$] - 6th Street Arts district [1st Thursday of every month theres a farmers market] - Pacific Diner, Tranis [for calamari and italian], Babouch [Moraccon food with belly dancers], 710 grille [For amazing wings], just to name a few [Theres a place for everyone here]. - Sunken City - Tours of SS LANE VICTORY | USS IOWA [VERY CHEAP] - Marine rescue [If you want to see rescued seals and learn about the marine life. Its FREE. kids love it]. Oiled bird sanctuary and rescue. - Military History [WW2 base and exibits] - AVRIL PARK [One of the most beautiful places for relaxation. Waterfalls, murky waters, bridge, turtle pond, duck pond, rose garden, gazebo, benches for picnics, huge trees. - Maritime Museum - Famous Warner Grand Museum - Check out the festivals too [Music by the sea, San Pedro Shred Festival for Skaters] - Peck park [Recreational park] - 2 Skate Parks - Friendship Park [For a nice place to park and view the entire city] This list can go on and on and the city is literally only a few miles long. There is really enough beauty to really impress a date. Hint Hint.
