I keep hearing all this talk of getting into yet another war and Im not saying something doesnt need to happen, but I keep wondering what our lives could be like if all the money and effort that was wasted on killing in the 20th century had been used to make everyones life better! I imagine people wouldnt be so inclined to hate if they had food to eat and the basic necessities. It doesnt take starving oppressed people long to want to lash out at someone then they feel the need to defend themselves and it escalates from there. I dont think things will change until the world agrees on some kind of basic set of rules that will let everyone live together, and that will only work if everyone agrees to help enforce those rules. So far, all I see is the USA going broke trying to help while actually only succeeding in destabilizing every country weve gone into. If you keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results......was to that the definition of something?
