I know I wouldnt complain about anything if it was a No vote, but - TopicsExpress

I know I wouldnt complain about anything if it was a No vote, but I feel like I have to make at least one comment about it. Admittedly we got trampled over, and at the moment Ive never felt more disgusted to be Scottish in all my life, in the sense that we were given the biggest opportunity in potentially our lifetime and we bottled it. I used to walk past the Wallace Monument in Stirling with pride. Not through some nationalist agenda, but in the sense that he fought for what was right for any country in the entire world, and now I dont know what to think anymore. But if anyone who knows me will tell you, Im an optimist in life. Hopefully this No vote will give the powers to Scotland that the English Parliament promised us. HOPEFULLY might I add. Because judging from the Twitter accounts of MPs currently sitting in that Parliament, we have shook their political tree, they are not happy about it and we will most likely be punished for even daring to bring up the topic of independence. They were not expecting this kind of turnout for the Yes campaign and they will not be happy about it. To all those who voted Yes, we tried to do our hardest to bring change to Scotland and we can at least hold our heads up high and say we did our best. Not only to ourselves, but to our children and our grandchildren also. To those who voted No, I hope you did so with Scotlands best interests at heart and not for the sake of the Union or because We Are The People or because the soldiers died for our union (which they didnt by the way, they were fighting for our freedom, as someone who has a grandad who goes silent whenever the topic of war even comes up I find that claim completely ridiculous). Just know that if things do not go our way, and Westminster doesnt hold up on their end of the bargain, and Scotland ends up in a more dire situation than it was before this referendum, then just know that a No vote was the decision you wanted to live with. On the plus side, at least James Bond still represents Scotland. I always thought Sean Connery was the best Bond anyway.
