I know its early, but unlike years past, Ive decided that I will have New Years resolutions this year after all. 1. I will sit on my typing fingers and unlike pages or hide statuses of people who spread hate and discontent. 2. I will simply smile and nod at anyone who feels self-righteous enough to look down their nose at someone without knowing their whole story. Likewise, I will try to help anyone who is trying to help themselves despite being shot down by self-righteous jerks - unless they themselves are self-righteous jerks - then they are on their own. 3. I will walk away from those who want to do little but tattle on others for doing something the way they feel is the wrong way. 4. I will no longer take the five minutes necessary to research the latest outrage post and send it back to the postee or emailer. If people are too lazy to take the time to research before spreading useless and inflammatory BS designed to do nothing but stir the turd pot, then theyre hopelessly miserable and on their own. 5. I will continue to post silly posts and what I consider decent music, and welcome anyone to unfriend me if they dont like it. Honest. My feelings wont be hurt. Have at it. When I say I have respect for others opinions, I mean it. I will not cut you down behind your back for it, nor will I suddenly find it my mission to make your life miserable because of it. Promise. 6. When anyone wishes to give me unsolicited advice on how to live, I will smile and politely thank them, then I will go home and live my life as I see fit - devoid of any guilt whatsoever. Now having said that, I wish everyone a Happy Post Election Day, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and whatever else that will piss us off for the next few months comes along. Now since Im human, Im sure I may occasionally fall off this list of resolutions. Go ahead! Keep me honest. Feel free to point it out if I do. Thanks and have a great day. :)
