I know its long but I ask that you read this with an open heart and and open mind and let the Holy Spirit move within you. Dear church, When will we be a church that is not based off of denominations but based off of the fruit of the spirit and the very Word of God that is sharper than any two-edged sword and will correct and reprove us? When will we be a church that stands with those that have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior but might not attend the same church you attend? God said, “You will know them by their fruits” When you talk with someone who might believe a few different things than you do… What do you do condemn them for their beliefs or stand with them for believing in the Lord Jesus Christ? Where are you O church of Acts? Will you help others in need because that is what God commanded us to do to help the orphan and the widow? Or will you only help those in need because you want something in return? This world will pass away but God’s Word will never pass away. Where are you O church of Acts? When will the church stop focusing on how many people attend Sunday morning service and start focusing on why they are attending? Now, know that the church that I am referring to is not the “church building” but those that believe in Jesus Christ and have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior and call themselves Christians. When Christ spoke with Nicodemus did Christ say,”Believe in this, this, this and this… and also this”? No He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” He continued to say in the next verse, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” Where are you O Church of Acts? When someone says they have sinned, do you judge them? or do you say, “Hey, i’ve been there, but God is bigger than your sin and can pull you out of that sin.” Where are you O Church of Acts? When you have to stand up for your faith and you cower behind your church pews instead of standing up and saying, “Yes, I am a Christian and I will not deny my Savior. For if I deny my Savior I will in fact say that their is no God” STAND Church! RISE and stop being a building and be God’s Children! Where are you O Church of Acts? When God says go…. You say, “When and where God? I will go” But, instead you say, “Well, God see there is this thing called life I want to live before I do what you want me to do” GO CHURCH! I ask that you once and for all stop being the “savior” and let the true Savior takeover. I ask that you give from your heart and not from your “I’m giving, watch me write this check” Bank account. Christians be the Church that God told us to be! Be the Church that God commanded us to be! Be the Church and stop thinking of yourself and begin thinking of others. It is time for us to say to God, “I cannot live life if I do not have You in it… My life is not my own anymore… I am Yours! Thank you for being my Savior and saving my life… I am Yours… All my addictions, all my sin, all my pride is Yours… Take away this selfish “Sunday morning love” attitude and give me the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. For Your glory God I am Yours.” We have been called for bigger and better things… Let God refine you and mold you into what He wants. It’s time to give up and let go of your past and your present and your future and give it all to the One who created you. It’s time. Will you follow? From, A brother in Christ
