Jerusalem is not part of the ISLAMIC religion.. not at all. It isnt mentioned in the Quran and has no significance to Muslims other than symbolism of supremacy! The final and decisive conflict will be between Muslims and Christians who make up the majority of the world. Jerusalem is SYMBOLIC to Muslims and not HOLY since again you wont find the word Jerusalem in the Quran and Palestinians pray with their backs towards Jerusalem facing Mecca. Christians of Jerusalem are not threatening to kill Jews and Jews of Jerusalem are not threatened by the existence of Christians.. why would they be since Christians are genuine in their love of Jerusalem and are not using the Jewish city to undermine Jewish rights as an excuse to dominate the world. The three Monotheist religions look to Jerusalem- although Jerusalem is central to Judaism.- for their own reasons. Only Muslims use Jerusalem as a battle ground for jihad where as Christians and Jews use Jerusalem as it was intended. So of course the expansionist Muslims know by reigning over all of Jerusalem they are telling the world - ISLAM IS SUPREME! The final conflict will be between Christians and Muslims.. Jews are just a useful distraction !
