I know this is totally off the subject, but please let me mention that this coming Sunday, October 12, is the 17 year anniversary of the death of John Denver. Im a huge JD fan. If you are as well, please take a few moments this week to think of John, play some of his music on your iPod, watch some of his videos on YouTube, or even take out your guitar and play some of his music. The John Denver Estate also has a Facebook page, where you can leave comments, to include messages to Annie Denver and the rest of Johns family. I cant believe its been 17 years, when it seems like just yesterday. He was certainly a good man. Attached are two videos if youre interested. The first one is an interview that CBS News did with Annie Denver the day after Johns death. The second one is a JD music video of John and Placido Domingo recording Annies favorite JD song, Perhaps Love. John wrote Perhaps Love as a final love song to Annie during the angst of their divorce.
