I know this lady. She has a distinct scent that is all her. She has a smile that comes from her soul. radiates her whole face and makes her eyes the warmest most welcoming eyes I have ever known. She is meticulous, slow and sure, precious and endearing. Many lessons I have learnt from this lady. She taught me to know and appreciate my strong sense of worth. She taught me the value of honesty, respect and obedience. From her I learnt the greatest lesson of love, and love unconditional. She has many times been the wise pole I anchored myself to when the insanities of life threatened to overwhelm. You ask me what Faith, Grace, Mercy and trust are, I look at her because she has lived daily lost in her Faith in God and human goodness, Mercy and Grace from our Father and she trusts God and the good humans can have. She doesnt live her life wondering from day to day what shall be, she simply goes in knowing it will be ok because, "Thus says the Lord". Her sense of humor is altogether warped. Her idea of good gossip is a slightly overly proud account of 4 other ladies and 2 men in her life. She taught me fashion, the does and donts. she taught me cleanliness, both internal and external. she taught me how to best present whatever package I had to show off. Her distinct scent, her warm eyes, her precious face, her great persona, that is home to my soul. Her innate ability to stay grounded even when her whole house is rolling on the floor with insane laughter at something oftentimes her husband has said or done, is the reason saying I love you mom comes so easily.
