I know to some people this may not be news, but I feel like the time is right. I have completed a long term goal of mine and I have accepted the position of Police Officer with the Owensboro Police Department. I am more than thrilled to begin my career as an OPD police officer. But the purpose of this status was to give a special thanks to all the people who helped me in achieving my goal. First I have to thank God because through him all things are possible and I know he was with me every step of the way through this process. Next I would like to extend a special thanks to my dad, Alex Payne words cant describe how much his help has meant to me and also Mark Filburn, Scott Barrow, Keith Cain, and many more who have helped me along the way. I also want to give a special thanks to my girlfriend, Taylor Ferguson because I know without her support and help I wouldnt be where I am today.
