I like to know why retailers come under fire for being open on Thanksgiving, when most of your convenience stores are open 24/7. Dont you think those people have families too? Well see how many people go to them on Thanksgiving. Walgreens has been opened for years 24/7. Unfortunately times have changed and what it boils down to is families dont get together like they used to. Dont forget casinos will be opened, they might close for a few hours. Watch how pack that place is. I have shopped at KMART for at least the last 15 years unfortunately the deals arent there anymore. Dont forget about all the places open for brunch on Thanksgiving, 29 years ago I took my brothers family to one before they moved to Arkansas. Or dont those people count as having family and deserve being with their families. Point is places have been open for years on Thanksgiving and its nothing new.
