I listen to channel 5 news in the morning to check on local news and weather and it ran into the Today show while I sat at our desk in another room. I hear a story about a mother of one of the kids that was murdered at Sandy Hook school. She said that her ten year old son had a purpose in life and he fulfilled that purpose and he was gone. This woman was very sincere, but she was sincerely wrong. She layed every bit of that childs hideous death on God and He had nothing to do with it. Jesus said the thief (satan) comes to steal, kill ,and destroy, But I come to give you abundant life.People are sometimes blinded to things around them until it is brought to life in the light of scripture. This woman meant well, but she said she prayed the same prayer over her son since he was born. Lord thank you for this gift because I know he can be taken from me at any time. Folks the Bible teaches that death and life is in the power of the tongue. That would never had happened if those teachers were allowed to lay hands on those kids and pray a prayer of blessing and protection on them and bound the enemy (satan ) away from them. Perhaps more importantly would have been if the mother had prayed a prayer over her child stating her authority over the devil who comes to destroy. That childs life was not fulfilled at ten years of age , He was murdered by a young man who obeyed the voice of a demon. Please folks , understand that because your prayers are sincere does not mean they are effective. Learn the importance of your words, speak blessings and protection over your child, thank God for their long life and good health and the things they do and say be honorable in the sight of God. I have heard people say If our kids are not safe in school, where are they safe ?? Anywhere and everywhere if you will say about your children what God says about them. Read your Bible and learn.
