I lost a very dear friend and relative this morning. Dorothy Dot Lewis Rhodes, my (ex) Mother-in-law. She was such a sweet lady; a second Mother to me. My children, Ryan & Nikki, were blessed to call her their Grandmother. Before she entered the nursing home, I was honored to have her in my home most days til evening at which time I would return her to the home of her son and daughter in law. We would watch tv, eat, talk about the good old days, go for rides, go out for ice cream, look through pictures, watch Nascar races and share secrets over a cup of coffee. She will certainly be missed by all that knew her. Please keep the Rhodes family in your thoughts and prayers as we go through the next couple of days. Her visitation will be at Wells in Canton tomorrow from 1:30 to 3:00; memorial service at 3:00. Burial will be Monday morning @11:00 at Forest Lawn Cemetary in Candler. We love and miss you, Dot!
